Krestena ist a nice small city,
build amphitheatrically on a hill with pine trees.
Its population is 5.644 people and the distance to Pirgos
is approximatelly 20 km.
In Krestena someone can find
all the public services and a hospital.
Zacharo is in the southwest
of the Olympia region in the Ilias prefecture. It is only
32 km from the capital Pyrgos and 25 km from Ancient Olympia.
It is situated on the southwest feet of Lapithas mountain,
in a fertile area with exceptional natural beauty and the
highway from Pyrgos to Kyparissia crosses it. Its population
is more than 6,000 people, and if we count in the surrounding
areas it is more than 13,000 people.
